Okaw Valley School District
April 3, 2001, Bethany-Findlay Schools consolidate. Voters approve by 376-215 in Findlay and 542-222 in Bethany.
The new high school is in Bethany and is called Okaw Valley High School. Okaw Valley Middle School, grades 6-7-8, will be in the existing Findlay High School building. Each community will have an elementary school.
The name, mascot and colors were previously chosen by a vote of high school students in Bethany and Findlay.
